Adolph had been a resident of Pengilly, Minnesota for several years.

Surviving are his wife, Florence; his mother, Mrs. Julia Ertz; two brothers, Marvellus and Nick; two sisters, Mrs. Donald (Elnor) Mattson and Mrs. Elaine Wagner; and several nieces and nephews.

Adolph died at the Veterans Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery. No photo of grave marker is available at this time.
