Adolph came to the United States in 1929. He worked for 1 1/2 years in Kansas City, Missouri before coming to Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Adolph had been employed by the Blandin Paper Company for 32 years, retiring in 1963.
Adolph was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Arbutus Rebekah Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; two step-daughters, Mrs. William (Gladys) Peters and Mrs. Foster (Delores) Root; one step-son, Hilding Helgren; three sisters that live in Sweden; four brothers, Walfred who lives in California and three brothers who live in Sweden; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Adolph died at Itasca Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota after a lengthy illness. He is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-G-08-0-2)
