    Bud was a United States Army veteran, serving as a pipeline engineer in China, Burma, and India. He helped build a pipeline over the Himalayan Mountains.

    Bud worked for the Oliver Mining Company and the Blandin Paper Company as a core cutter.

    On October 21, 1946, Bud married Julia Allenby in Yelm, Washington.

    Bud was preceded in death by one son, Dennis; his parents; three brothers, Howard Taylor, Hjalmer Taylor and Merlin Taylor; and sisters, Clara Mickle, Ann Martin, and Nellie Taylor.

    He is survived by his wife, Julia; his daughters, Trudie (Alfred) Burton, Diana (Arlan) Jensen; and Rita (Mike) Perreault; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

    Bud died in his home in Cohasset, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-C-16-0-1)
