The other half of the family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dolezel and Mrs. Matt Schagh, Taconite, were happy to know they had been reunited."

    After almost 5 years of service during WWII and a number of years after the war in reserve training in the US Air Force, Al retired in 1975 as a Lt Colonel.

    Al retired from the State of California in 1972 where he spent 15 years in land buying for the State Department of Water Resources. Albert Dolezel died in Los Angeles County, California and records indicate he is buried in San Fernando Mission Cemetery, Mission Hills, California (Sec. F, Row 47, Grave 39), although there is no stone on the grave.
