Alfred was struck and killed by a car on Highway 2 three miles west of Cass Lake, Minnesota on July 7, 1969.
Alfred had attended local schools, served with the United Army as a military policeman and worked at the West Hill Mine and for Cole Forest Products in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Vroman; three brothers, David, Arthur, and Donald; and a sister, Mrs. James Tader.
