Airman Allen L. Wagner, son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Wagner of Grand Rapids, has been assigned to Gibbsboro Air Force Station, New Jersey after completing Air Force basic training.
During his six weeks at the air training command's Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, he studied the Air Force mission, organization and customs and received special instruction in human relations.
The airman has been assigned to a unit of the aerospace defense command for further training and duty as a food services specialist.
Airman Wagner is a 1970 graduate of Grand Rapids High School. His wife is the former Becky L. Morrison of 1804 Mary Ann Drive, Grand Rapids."

In 1972, Allen married Becky Lynn Morrison. After serving 19 1/2 years in the United States Air Force as a chef, in 1966 he retired and returned to Grand Rapids.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2024, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2469, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans, all in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He loved hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening and processing wild rice.
Preceding him in death was his father, James H. and a sister, Fay Lantinen.
He is survived by his wife, Becky; a daughter, Christina (Freddie) Krueger; a son, Allen J. (Rebecca); his mother, Bernadine Wagner; two sisters, Anne Bradley and Brenda (Larry) Smith; two brothers, Roger and James E; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. - Tribal Affiliation(s):
