I took Basic Training in Fort Campbell, Kentucky--home of the 101st Airborne. From there I was shipped to Fort Gordon, Georgia where I first went to Leadership Training School and was an acting Staff Sergeant through Military Police School. After Basic Training, I was promoted to Private First Class (PFC). After Military Police School, I was promoted to Specialist 4th Class. I was then transferred to a Nike Missile site in Maryland. I was then shipped to Korea in November, 1968--the year the North Koreans captured the Pueblo (a spy ship). I went to Dog Handler School and became a dog handler until I was promoted to Sergeant E-5, when I was given a squad of dog handlers to lead. - Wars Involved:

After my service, I became a Christian and was called to preach. I graduated from Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I then went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Masters Degree from International Bible Institute College. Since then I have pastored 42 years. I have also been a police chaplain and received Chaplain of the Year Award in 2012 from the Weld Police Department and Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office.
I have also authored five books: "Andy's Lost Poetry" - 2014; "The Making of a Killer: Clamshell Quickdraw 1" (Volume 1) - 2015; "Fast Gun for Gold Mountain: Clamshell Quickdraw" (Volume 2) - 2015; "Trail to Snowy Mountain: Clamshell 3" (Volume 3) - 2017, and "Revealing the Revelation: Exploring the Visions of John" - 2019. - Tribal Affiliation(s):
