Andrew was raised in Ball Club, Minnesota and attended school in Deer River, Minnesota.
He loved the game of softball which he played for many years and also coached. He loved the outdoors and spending time with Davanee and Evan Tibbetts and his grandchildren. He was employed as a laborer all his life.
Andrew was preceded in death by grandparents, Andrew and Mary Gotchie and Ernest and Rose Howard.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Lawrence and Nellie Gotchie; wife, Candace; children, Sarah Wakanabo, Andrew, Jr., Nathan, and Chad; two grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence (Linda Guddendorf), Ernie, Ed, Steve, Robert, and Donald (Sheila); sisters, Mary, Donna, and Rose; special children, Davanee and Evan Tibbets; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Andrew died in Ball Club and is buried in Townsite Cemetery (Indian Cemetery) at Ball Club, Minnesota.
