Following Tony's discharge from the service, he married Marie Grommesh in Ball Club, Minnesota.
He was a lifetime resident of Itasca County where he worked as a self-employed carpenter, was part owner of Cohasset Mill in Cohasset, Minnesota and then became a cabinet and furniture maker.
Tony is survived by his ex-wife, Marie Daigle; children, Lorraine Peterson, Loren Daigle, Doug Daigle, Diane Harker, Anthony "Bud" Daigle, Jr., Brian Daigle, Rhonda Daigle, Robert Daigle, Angela Rosadiuk, and Laura Finke; twenty-five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ernest Daigle.
Prceding him in death were his parents and brothers, Arthur, Eugene, Vincent and Quentin.
Tony died at Homestead Nursing Home in Deer River, Minnesota and is buried in Saint Joseph's Cemetery at Ball Club, Minnesota (also known as Ball Club Cemetery).
