Arnie was raised and educated in Cohasset, Minnesota.
He married Estelle Avery on November 17, 1934.
Arnie worked as a police officer for the City of Grand Rapids, Minnesota beginning in 1947. On January 1, 1973, he became chief of police and served in that position until retiring in 1975.
Arnie was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Survivors are his wife, Stelle; a daughter, Shirley Jackson; sons, Vern and Butch; sisters, Mary Lou Goodrie, Georgia Mae Lattery, and Ruth Thompson; a brother, Jack Morency; six grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Arnie died at this home and is buried in Wildwood Cemetery at Cohasset, Minnesota. (Plot c15w24)
