Arthur was very active in Farm Bureau affairs, having served as president of the Farm Bureau for many years. He was also a 4-H Club leader for years and was also active in church groups.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Ottis Foster; two sons, Vernon and Alvin; a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Ivis) Eldon; thirteen grandchildren; a brother, Charles; and several nieces and nephews.
Arthur died at Itasca Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (I-B-18-2-7)
