Arthur Amundson was married to Lillian M. Michels in Duluth, Minnesota on March 20, 1942. He came to Grand Rapids, Minnesota in 1946. He retired in 1972 after 17 years as motor vehicle registrar for the State of Minnesota.

Arthur was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors are his wife, Lillian; a son, Al; and two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Gertrude) Cronk and Miss Anna Amundson.

Buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 1.5.2.6)
