Arthur was a lifelong resident of the community.
He was a member of Ponti-Peterson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1720 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and Moose Lodge 2023 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Retiring in 1980, he worked for the municipal public utilities for 25 years.
He was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Violet; a daughter Joy Robinson; and two grandchildren.
Arthur died at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot I-C-07-0-5)
