    Arthur grew up in Hibbing, Minnesota. He worked as a brakeman for the Great Northern railroad.

    Arthur moved to Ely, Minnesota in 1947, where he operated the Everett Lake Resort until moving to Silver Bay, Minnesota in 1969.

    He was a member of the American Legion in Ely, Minnesota and AARP.

    Art was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Ailie in 2000.

    He is survived be several nieces and nephews.

    Arthur died in the Minnesota Veterans Home in Silver Bay, Minnesota and is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery at Hibbing, Minnesota. (Plot 168-1-6W1/2)
