    Arvo is survived by his wife, Marian; son, James; four daughters, Kerry (Jake) Johnson, Sandra (James) Nickel, Gail Wirtanen (Jim Hall), and Kristen Wirtanen (Tom Hall); sister, Fay Czurles; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

    Arvo died in the Leisure Hills Nursing Home in Hibbing, Minnesota and is buried in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota. (Plot 4-B, 0, 331)
