Survivors are his aunt, Mrs. Sophie Phillips who raised him from the age of two years, and her family, Albertina Phillips, Mrs. Richard Herrick, Mrs. Clarence Carlson, Mrs. Oliver Toven, and Mrs. Albert Erven; and two sisters, Mrs. Edwin Engquist and Mrs. Dan Melling.
