Bruce moved to Duluth in 1969 and drove truck for Indianhead Transport Company, in Superior, Wisconsin. He moved to Cloquet, Minnesota in 1974.
Bruce was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Loyal Order of Moose 1274 of Cloquet, Minnesota, West Duluth American Legion Post 71 of Duluth, Minnesota, and Teamsters Local 346. He was a former member of the Minnesota National Guard, Minnesota Motorcycle Goldwings, Arrowhead Bowling League of Cloquet and Mixed Doubles League of Duluth and loquat, Minnesota.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; daughters Tina Eggebraaten and Cathy Bobich; sons Michael, Randy, and James; stepmother Myrtle Eggebraaten; brothers Walter, Claude, and Brad; and three grandsons.
Bruce died in American International Hospital in Zion, Illinois and is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery at Duluth, Minnesota. (No picture of grave marker available at this time.)
