Following discharge from the service, Calvin came to Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
He was married to Joy B. Foix on September 8, 1950, at Grand Rapids, Minnesota where they lived until moving to Jacobson in 1955. He worked 40 years for M. A. Hanna Mining Company, retiring in 1985.
Calvin was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Grand Rapids, Minnesota and the American Legion in Warba, Minnesota.
Preceded in death by a sister, June Socher, a brother Stanley, and a grandson, Kevin Lindberg; he is survived by his wife, Joy; four daughters, Sandra Steman, Peggy Richards, Wendy Martin, and Cherry Lindberg; two sons, Michael and Randy; three sisters, Delores Quaas, Hallie Hensel, and Gayle Quaas; two brothers, Lyle and Emery; and eleven grandchildren.
Buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 2.21.4.3)
