    Following Kenny's discharge, he returned to Isanti, Minnesota and then moved to Grand Rapids, Minnesota in 1969. He married Emogene Grell on December 29, 1969. He worked 27 years for United States Steel Minntac in Mountain Iron, Minnesota. In 1981, the couple moved to Buhl, Minnesota and in 1992, he retired from United States Steel and moved to Bigfork, Minnesota. He was a member of United Steel Workers of America Local No. 1938.

    He is survived by his wife, Emogene; his mother, Mildred Anderson Braham; three step-daughters, Connie Frizzell, DeVona Petz, and Rosie Doyle; two stepsons, Dean and Glen Grell; two sisters, Lorna Christenson and Shirley Rydeen; and 11 step-grandchildren.

    Preceding him in death were his father, Merrill Anderson and a brother, James.
