Carlos worked for the Deer River Telephone Company in Deer River, Minnesota for thirty-seven years. He retired in 1987.
Preceded in death by a daughter, Karla Erickson; he is survived by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Jean (Jerry) Erickson; a daughter, Margery Villeneuve; a son, Gregory; two sisters, Nora Danielson and Lila Alajoki; three brothers, Edmond, Rolfe, and August; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Carlos died at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota and is buried in Pine Ridge Cemetery at Deer River, Minnesota.
