    Bud married Geraldine Glidden on November 24, 1956, in Hibbing, Minnesota.

    He was a maintenance mechanic for M.A. Hanna Mining Company and National Steel for forty-one years, retiring in 1992.

    Bud was a member of the Nashwauk Lutheran Church in Nashwauk, Minnesota and the National Rifle Association.

    Preceded in death by his father, Oscar, and a brother, Raymond; he is survived by his wife, Geraldine; three sons, Gregory, Douglas, and David; three daughters, Laura Bigo, Patricia Andrews, and Karen; his mother, Anna; two brothers, Clifford and Milton; three sisters, Elinor Alarcon, Patrician Burrell, and Nancy Olson; and five grandchildren.

    Bud died at his home in Nashwauk Township and is buried in Nashwauk Cemetery at Nashwauk, Minnesota. (No photo of grave marker is available at this time.)
