    Charles was a United States Army Veteran and served in the Army National Guard for 18 years.

    Charlie was a longtime Iron Range Township resident. He was a member of the Lawron Presbyterians Church, and was a custodian for Independent School District 316 for many years.

    His parents, John and Dorothy Francisco and siblings, Darrell, Tim, and Kerry preceded him in death.

    Survivors include his children, Nick (Candy) Francisco, Michael (Pamela) Francisco, and Kathy Francisco, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Betsy, Sandy, John, Joann, Kim, Jennifer, Steve, Nick, and Brian; and his stepmother, Janette Francisco.

    Charlie died in the Grand Itasca Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, Minnesota. (Sec. 9, Site 476)
