Charles moved to the Range in 1974.
He was employed by National Steel for twenty years. Charles was a member of the United Steelworkers of America.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Janan K. (Earl C. III) Sharpe; his son, Scott; his mother Ada Dickinson; brothers, Doug, Tom, and James; three sisters, Louise (Dean) Christianson, Tesse (Doc) Blanchard, and Irene (Dan) Gartner and a grandson, Earl C. Sharpe IV.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Janice, on February 15, 1988.
Charles died at his home in Keewatin, Minnesota and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery at Park Rapids, Minnesota. (Block 220, Lot 2, gr 2)
