    Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Dorothy E. (Salo) Zurcher, formerly of Coleraine, Minnesota and Grand Rapids, Minnesota on March 11, 2010; their precious daughter, Paula Y. (Zurcher) Olmstead on September 24, 2008; and his parents.

    He was devoted father to five children, grandfather to eight children, and great grandfather to nine children.

    He was proud of his service to our country during World War II in the Army/Air Force.

    Charles was a good and loving man who led an honorable life and was blessed with many wonderful friends and loved ones.

    Charles, formerly of Grand Rapids, Minnesota passed away In hospice care at Gilbert, Arizona.
