Pete Aiken worked as an auto mechanic and driver for many years. He was one of the last surviving drivers of the old Mesaba Transportation Company.

He is survived by his wife, Nora, one brother, Wallace Aiken, one sister, Marie Aiken, and one niece and one nephew.
