Clarence Lawson married Myrtle Monson in Minnesota in 1939. He worked for Jones & Laughlin Reserve Mining Co., and after retirement, he moved to El Cajon, California. He was a member of the Sons of Norway and the AFL-CIO in California.
Clarence died in El Cajon, California and is buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California (Plot 19, 111). He is survived by his wife, Myrtle, and a brother, Emil Lawson.
