Clinton was the owner of Hi-Land Cabins on Island Lake for many years and also was employed by the Grand Rapids Herald Review as a pressman during the years he made his home in Deer River, Minnesota.
Clinton was a member of Theodore Roosevelt Lodge #1022 AF/AM in Chicago, Illinois, White Oak Chapter #206 O.E.S. of Deer River, Minnesota, Past High Priest of the R.A.M. of Pokegama Chapter #102, Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Aad Temple Shrine of Duluth, Minnesota, Finance Committee of the VFW of Deer River, Minnesota and WWI Barracks #1356 in Deer River, Minnesota.
Clinton is survived by his wife, Mildred.
