    Clinton grew up and attended school in Marshall, Minnesota.

    He married Korrine Gunderson on June 9, 1946. Clinton lived for several years in Grand Forks, North Dakota before moving to Grand Rapids, Minnesota in 1953, He and his family have owned and operated Janicke Bakery for the past twenty-five years.

    Clinton was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Ponti-Peterson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, the Grand Rapids Saddle Club and the Sons of Norway, all in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He helped organize the Wendigo Community Club.

    He is survived by his wife, Korrine; two daughters, Karon Johnson and Diania Hook; a son, Derek; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

    Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Clifford and Clarence.

    Clinton died at his home and is buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (3.24.3.4)
