Curtis was the former owner of Fadden Insurance Company in Deer River, Minnesota and a member of Chippewa Lodge No. 275 AF&AM, Scottish Rite Bodies of Duluth, AAD Temple Shrine, North Star Shrine Club in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and the Deer River American Legion Post in Deer River, Minnesota.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Daisy; and two brothers, Glen and Stanley.
Curtis died in Community Memorial Hospital in Deer River, Minnesota and is buried in Wildwood Cemetery at Cohasset, Minnesota. (Plot 44w34)
