    Dale Miller married Laura London in 1958 and together they built a life of living simply and living with hospitality. They lived and worked in a variety of places, including Indiana, Minnesota, Arkansas (where Dale was employed by the Arkansas State Highway Department) and then retired back to Minnesota in 1992. Dale loved being outdoors and enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, trapping, gardening, maple syruping, feeding the birds, bear and deer, as well as finding ways to be a good neighbor and a generous man. For many years, Dale was actively involved with the Jessie Lake Baptist Church and the VFW Perry Heide Post 9703 in Talmoon, Minnesota.

    Dale died in Deer River, Minnesota. He is survived by his brother Ralph (Violet) Miller, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura in 2000; his parents; brothers, Willard, Walter, Floyd, and Albert; and sisters, Nada Endorf, Ethelda Steenblock, Evelyn Oakes, and Mavis Miller.
