    Dale worked all of his life in the mining industry. After working for the Hanna Mining Company, he retired as an electrical supervisor at National Steel.

    He was a member of the Keewatin American Legion and the Keewatin Loyal Order of Moose of Keewatin, Minnesota.

    In his free time, Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and woodworking.

    Dale is survived by his wife of 57 years, Luella; daughters, Laura and Teri; a sister, Mae Ellen "Tootsie" Whaley; and a brother, Anthony.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Darrell.

    Dale died in the Heritage Manor Health Care Center in Chisholm, Minnesota. According to Dale's wishes, the family held a private funeral service. He is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery at Hibbing, Minnesota. No photo of grave marker is available at this time. (Block 4, Lot 243, Grave 3, E 1/2)
