Dan Dubovich was a life-long resident of Marble. He married Jean Swennes in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1958. He had been a truck driver for Cleveland Cliffs Mining Company, retiring in 1982.
Dan died in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, Minnesota (Block 120). He is survived by his wife, Jean; a son, Jim Dubovich; a daughter, Nancy Birch; two grandchildren; a brother, Paul (Vi) Dubovich; and two sisters, Anne Georgiff and May Dimatteo. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, David; brothers, Steve, Mike, George Jr., Nick, Sam, and Eli; and sisters, Mary Plecas, Sadie Elich, and Draga Shevich.
