Dan moved to Moose Park Township in Itasca County in 1927.
He marrid Eleanor Michalko on February 13, 1943 at Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dan worked as a farmer, on road construction and began as a tax assessor for Moose Park Township in the 1950's. He later worked as a tax assessor for Itasca County until retiring in 1985.
He was a member of the Blackduck American Legion.
Siblings were a brother, Mike; and a sister, Annie.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Richard; and one daughter, Andrea Zustiak.
Dan was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda; one brother, Mike; and one sister.
Dan died at North Country Hospital in Bemidji, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery at Blackduck, Minnesota.
