    David came to Grand Rapids, Minnesota from Florida in 1973 and married Janice D. Arsenault on November 25, 1977. He was employed as an electrician in the construction industry, working in the area until 1986.

    He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Loyal Order of Moose and the American Legion, all of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

    Preceded in death by one brother, Robert, he is survived by his wife, Janice; five daughters, Joni Payne, Kim Taylor, Lori McCarthy, Jacqueline Schick, and Patricia Berg; three stepdaughters, Debra Arsenault, Cynthia Mayer and Cheryl Steinhart; one stepson, Mark Arsenault; two sisters, Bette Swehla and Jerrine Samuelson; three brothers, Alvin and Arnold Berg and Bernard Coonradt; his mother and stepfather, Mildred and Carlton Teslow; and five grandchildren.
