David lived most of his life in Bovey, Minnesota, worked as a tool and die designer and retired from the mines.

David played football and hockey for Greenway High School and was a fixture at the 50's reunions. He loved golfing and was always a familiar site tooling around on his golf cart from Bovey to the Eagle Ridge Golf Course. He also enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and attending local hockey games.

David was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Zorka Berger, Mirko, Stephen, George, Sophie Evanoff, Silvia Kempf, Marko, and Donald.

He is survived by his children, Kimberly Thompson, Cindy Dotlich, and David Dotlich, Jr.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was quite a guy and will be greatly missed not only by his family, but also his dearest friends, the Bovey Boys and anyone that knew him.

David passed away from Parkinson's Disease. At his request, there were no services.
