    Ron lived for several years in California before moving to Grand Rapids in 1958. He was united in marriage to Joan Braner on April 4, 1959, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He worked for Itasca Heating and Sheet Metal until 1970 when he started Economy Sheet Metal, Inc. where he worked until his retirement in 1990.

    He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and First Evangelical Lutheran Church, both In Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

    Ron is survived by his wife, Joan; two daughters, Juli (Myron) Overton and Kristin (John) Ballew; a son, Brad (Kim Johnson), Tyler and Chase; two sisters, Elaine (Donovan) Pautzke and Jeanine (Arnold) Bloom; and four grandchildren.

    Buried in Harris Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot 3.2.3.4)
