    Donald Dahl married Kay Sutton in 1950 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. He worked at Cleveland-Cliffs Mine at Calumet for 16 years and then moved to St Cloud in 1962 where he was a correctional counselor at Minnesota Correctional Facility-St. Cloud until retiring in 1973. He was a volunteer for the Women’s Guild for many years and he and his wife currently operated Dahl Day Care Center. He was a member of VFW Post 428 in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

    Donald died in St. Cloud, Minnesota and is buried in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN (Sec. 7, Block 1, Lot 2A, Grave 2). He is survived by his wife; daughters and son, Cathy Schmitz, James D., Donna (Darrell) Gerdes, and Janet (Michael) Dahlman; seven grandchildren; and sisters, Tudie (Art) Patton, Betty (Wally) Probst, and Goldie Holman. He was preceded in death by his parents.
