He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Delia and Virginia; and three brothers, John, Frank, and Sam.
Donald is survived by three sons, Donald, John, and Lloyd; three daughters, Linda Fisherman, Lisa Fisherman, and Pearl Thurman; three brothers, George, James, and Darwin Wilson; one sister, Margaret Nelson; numerous grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Donald died at his home. Funeral services were in the Indian custom at the Dik-in-AaGan Care Center and burial was in the Indian Cemetery at Ball Club, Minnesota with military honors given by the Leech Lake Honor Guard.
