Eugene was raised in Deer River, Minnesota.
He practiced dentistry in Cass Lake, Minnesota for many years and also in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Eugene retired from dentistry in 1971 and in 1981 moved to Ronan, Montana.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Deer River, Minnesota, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Cass Lake, Minnesota, and the Minnesota Dental Association.
Survivors are a daughter, Mary Meyer; a son, Patrick; a brother, Clarence; and five grandchildren.
Eugene died in Missoula, Montana and is buried in Itasca Calvary Cemetery at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. (Plot C-D-23-1-9)
