Dudley Mizer married Vivian Wellein in Minnesta in 1941. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a pilot and had resided for 45 years in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Dudley died in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Inurnment is in Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Colorado Springs, Colorado (Plot - Garden of Angels, Freedom Columbarium). He is survived by a son, Mark D. Mizer, and a daughter, Claudia G. Campbell.
