    Edmond was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and the International Association of Sheetmetal Workers Union Local 505 for twenty-seven years. He was a life member of VFW Post 1720 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

    Edmond was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Selma (Timo) Erickson; a sister, Irene Blum; and a brother, Carlos Erickson.

    He is survived by his wife, Tiemi (Ikola) Erickson; daughters, Denise (Eric) Zaske and Diane (Brian) Ross; five grandchildren; sisters, Lila Alajoki and Nora Danielson; and brothers, Ralph and August.

    Edmond died of congestive heart failure in Community Memorial Hospital in Deer River, Minnesota. He is buried in Olivet Cemetery in Morse Township in Deer River, Minnesota.
