Ed married Diane Guentzel in 1967.

He retired as owner of Ed's Tire Hauling in 1995.

Ed enjoyed hunting, gardening, playing horse shoes, and spending time with his family, especially his new grandson.

Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Diane and parents, Harold and Dorothy.

He is survived by his children, Shane, Wade (Diane), Heath (Kendra); grandson, Otto; siblings, Dode, Betty (Bill), Bernie, Sonny (Connie), Carol, and Barb; and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.

Ed died at his home in Wawina, Minnesota and was cremated. His grave is at the Wawina Cemetery in Wawina, Minnesota.
