Edward married Geneva Kuck on June 23, 1956.

He was past commander of the Deer River Veterans of Foreign Wars 2720 and was an honor guard member.

Edward enjoyed woodworking, welding, camping, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. His grandchildren brought him immense pride and joy.

Edward is survived by his wife, Geneva; daughters, Sheila Rae (Tim) Maki and Kathy (Kenny) Kennedy; sons, Ed. Jr., and Terry (Renee McCarroll); seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

He died at Essentia Health in Deer River, Minnesota and burial was in Pine Ridge Cemetery at Deer River, Minnesota. No photo of grave marker is available at this time.
