    Eero was married to Anne (Mortel) Eklin.

    In civilian work, he was an employee of the Cleveland Cliffs Mining Company and a member of Local 2073, United Steel Workers.

    Survivors are his wife, Anne; father, John; two sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Ellen) Hill and Mrs. Wayne (Elsie) Rosholt; a brother, Ernest; and eleven nephews and nieces.

    Eero died in the Snelling Veterans Administration facility and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery at Coleraine, Minnesota. (No grave marker photo available at this time)
