Elaine married Kenneth J. Carlson, Sr. in 1945. They moved to Grand Rapids, Minnesota in 1946.
Elaine was a member of the Itasca Medical Center Auxiliary and Grace Bible Chapel in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken, in March, 2000.
Elaine is survived by her children, Ken (Karen), Dr. Ted, and Dr. Nancy (Larry) Carlson; and nine grandchildren.
