Eli Antonovich married Eleanor Koppy in 1949. He worked for U.S. Steel and Cleveland Cliffs Mining companies, retiring with 37 years of service. He was a member of Marinoff-Miskovich VFW Post 8831 of Pengilly, Minnesota and the Disabled American Veterans.
Eli died in the Veteran's Administration Hospital, St. Cloud, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, Minnesota. He is survived by three sons, Nick (Sue) Antonovich, Michael (Sandra) Antonovich, and Lyle Antonovich; two step-sons, Gene (Mary ) Pulczinski and Steve (Blanch) Pulczinski; two step-daughters, Bernadette (Bob) Bardon and Darlene (Rick) Jennings; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eleanor in 1998; and three brothers, Louie, George, and Joe.
