    Eli Dubovich attended Greenway High School in Coleraine, Minnesota and lived most of his life in the Marble, Minnesota area. He married Mary Prerad in 1951 in Chisholm. He was a shovel operator for the Oliver Mining Co., retiring in 1975 after 38 years of service. He was a life member of the Marinoff-Miskovich VFW Post 8831 of Pengilly. He was an Army Air Force veteran of WW II.

    Eli died in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine, Minnesota (Serbian section - Block 45). He is survived by his wife, Mary; three daughters, Terri Dubovich, Barbara Dubovich, and Mary Ellen Dubovich; three sons, George, Dan and David; seven brothers, Nick, Mike, Sam, George, Steve, Paul and Dan; four sisters, Anne Georgiff, Mayme Dimatteo, Mary Plecas and Dragie Shevich; and six grandchildren.
