Elroy Frank, coastguardsman, died at a base hospital at Hollandia, New Guinea from a rare tropical disease on February 8 according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Frank of Chisholm, Minnesota. The Franks are former residents of Nashwauk, Minnesota.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Niemi) Frank; a son, Robert Elroy Frank; and two sisters, Martha Davidson and Elna Brunet.
He is buried in Calvary Cemetery at Chisholm, Minnesota.
