    Information from obituary in Grand Rapids Herald Review, dated August 21, 1958:

    "Forrest T. Anderson, Grand Rapids attorney, died Wednesday night at the Minneapolis VA hospital.

    Mr. Anderson had been ill since early in the summer when he was hospitalized while training with a Marine reserve unit in California. A Marine officer during World War II, Anderson had remained active in the reserves. He was a past commander of the McVeigh-Dunn American Legion post, a former village attorney and past secretary of the Civic and Commerce. He had been active in Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce and other community projects. He headed the student county government project of the American Legion, all of Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

    Survivors include his wife, Catherine; two sons, Peter and Rolf, daughter Kristin, two sisters, Mrs. A. W. Sitz and Mrs. Arthur Silvis and a brother, Leigh."
