    Francis married Virginia Dynes of Cashmere, Washington in 1953.

    He was subdivision inspector for the Harris County (Texas) Engineering department and a member of the Moses Lake Masonic Lodge No. 174 AF & AM, and the Arabia Temple Shrine, of Houston, Texas.

    Francis was a former Bigfork, Minnesota resident. He died at Pasadena Bayshore Hospital in Pasadena, Texas. His death certificate indicates that he died from an acute myocardial infarction.

    Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. J. A. (Janet) Saikley and Donna; his mother, Mrs. Earnest Caviness and his sister, Mrs. R. G. (Barbara Joan) Lesemann.

    Francis is buried in Grand View Memorial Park in Pasadena, Texas.
